Dear valued customers,
I am delighted to announce that I have joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as their new Second Oboist. Because of this, I have stopped making reeds commercially for the general public since April 2018. At this point I only make reeds for my own students, and sometimes for others on very rare special requests.
If you would like to get in touch or inquire about lessons, please feel free to reach me.
UPDATE: Sept 27, 2018
HLR will be reopening in October 2018 as a business providing support services for Canadian reedmakers. Services will include blade hollow regrinding and restoration as well as sharpening stone truing. A small selection of supplies (e.g. GEM razors) will also be available for retail. Stay tuned for more information or 337-391-3783 if you want to be notified when this goes live.
